Stylish
For the redesign of the rooms, we commissioned SODA GROUP, one of the best-known consulting and planning offices in the international food and hospitality market. The guest room design from the Tucholsky was taken up and this 1930s style was reinterpreted in the rooms on the upper floors. White faceted tiles are found in the bathroom, and the cloakroom and desks include copper details. The walls are covered with Dadaist-style art wallpaper, featuring well-known motifs and Bochum landmarks. Each wall is unique and invites the guest to search and find.
Each room is unique
In addition to the SODA GROUP, the artist Detlef Vordenbäumen was commissioned, as in all the years before, to insert his art into selected rooms. He responded to the atmosphere in the hotel with wall-filling, complex paintings in restrained pastel shades. The result is carefully inserted wall artworks of a variety of forms typical of the artist.
